Hi, I'm Julie.

Modern Fable started as a reflection of what I couldn't always find - pieces that feel good, wear well and don't require overthinking.

Everything in the shop is something I would wear, use, or bring into my own space.

It's not about having more, it's about having the right pieces. 

What customers love most is how easy everything feels. We have pieces that work together, styles that don't overwhelm, and a space (online and in-store) that makes shopping feel calm and intentional.

This thoughtfully curated lifestyle boutique, nestled in the heart of Almonte, is a lifelong dream brought to life. I’m also the maker behind Hollow Clayworks which is an extension of the same approach, with pieces created slowly and meant to be used and enjoyed every day.
